On 13th February, 1915, the 4th Hussars of 3 Cavalry Brigade, 2nd Cavalry Division moved into trenches south-east of Zillebeke in the Ypres salient where they remained until relieved on 19th February. On 16th February, the day on which William Peake was killed, enemy snipers were very active all day. |
